Our Kinder level develops a student’s ability to read simple sentences, with reading comprehension in both English and Filipino, through a values-centered curriculum. This level also practices the student’s critical thinking skills in preparation for big school.
KAI Online’s holistic curriculum is integrated with our Values Before Skills philosophy. Through this we encourage students to have a strong moral core and social conscience through fun, immersive lessons.
Kinder subjects include Literacy, Numeracy, Language Arts (Science, Civics, and Geography), Music and Movements, Arts and Crafts, Values Formation, and Filipino.
Class schedules depend on the availability of teachers and the number of students enrolled, based on a 1:5 ratio. Classes are 30 minutes long, covering 1 subject per day.
The Online Class routine starts with circle time, good morning songs, attendance, and weather. It is then followed by spring-boarding activities (storytelling, icebreakers, and games) and the lesson proper. The day is then wrapped up with a goodbye song.
Students are encouraged to have their snacks and independent learning time offline.
The schedule and routine of Module-Based classes depend on the child’s learning needs. Setting their daily lessons is up to the parents for they are the student’s primary teacher.
